A Wonderful atmosphere for Xmas in Les Gets - Photos taken yesterday evening
It is such a joy to see the village of Les Gets when the first guests arrive for the Christmas holidays! Food tastings in the street, ice rink, illuminated decorations, shopping... a beautiful atmosphere for the enjoyment of all.
This year, more than ever, we realise that Les Gets is really special and perfect for a great family holiday during the Christmas and New Year Eve period. Even if the ski lifts are not open yet, the village has so much to offer to holidaymakers in a magical atmosphere.
The countdown to Christmas has begun...just a few days before the opening of the presents. While waiting to meet Father Christmas, who, we all know leaves his cabin in the evening of December 24th to deliver presents while children are asleep, passers-by wander through the resort and let themselves be carried away by the lights of the shops and decorations.

The ice-skating rink is the place to be, children and parents alike enjoy skating in the heart of the village.
Holidaymakers take the opportunity to do their last shopping before Christmas, while following the health measures put in place for everyone's safety.
Yum...a tasting of regional dishes in the street. Onion soup and Swiss fondue, a real treat!
