This was taken from the web cam in Les Gets today - the Grains d'Or web cam - at 16.30hrs. We clearly have snow in Les Gets!...

The last snow forecast seems to have not quite got the dates right - however, snow is forecast starting around the 1st or 2nd December, the long term forecasts for the Alps are upbeat for a good season - temperatures are dropping - so we are hopeful of good snow starting very soon....

Temperatures of below zero as from 25th November are forecast and almost a foot of snow, due to fall over three days. This looks like a good start to the season and should form a good base for the rest of the ski season....

The details program for Christmas in Les Gets has just been announced, every day you can visit him in his Grotto (apart from Christmas Eve - when you can see him leaving his grotto to deliver presents)....

Prices for ski passes are the same for this ski season, a family of at least 4 qualified for a 10% discount. Prices for 6 days are: Les Gets Morzine - Adult - €156 Les Gets Morzine - Child - €124 Portues du Soleil - Adult - 216 Portues du Soleil - Child - €162 ...

These are pictures taken earlier this week when our Chalet Manager, Alex, went whitewater rafting with our friends at Frogsrafting - you can see they all had a great time - they were on the Giffre River in Samoens. It was a very hot day and to be in the cool water was very refreshing....
